Woke up to my poor little bug crying for me. I ask my husband to go get him and the thermometer on instinct. 105.1. Please Lord let this Motrin do its business without any seizures. he hasn't had any since August when he had 5 in 24 hours. Please say a prayer for a quick recovery for our munchkin!

so far, I have gotten his temp down to 103 and he's attentively tuned into Mickey which is a great sign

thank you! I am not going to lie, I sent my husband running out the door to put the car seat in (I took it apart today to deep clean it) and called the nurse line. She said as long as it's not 106 (it's pretty close lady!), it's better to keep him home. Fevers tend to be only dangerous if the child is being lathargic. I have an appointment made for him anyway at 9 am but you better believe I'll be sitting up tonight starring at him. we are no strangers to high fevers with him unfortunately. 😕😕 Good news is, I have gotten it down to 101.5 now.

thank you ladies @sarahemccormick @mygiftof2016, it's very scary seeing numbers that high especially when he's so prone to seizures. I might still bring him in to the ER after I am sure he won't seize in the car

that's scary too. I have seizures I cant imagine my baby having them too

it's the most awful thing you can imagine.. I've seen plenty of seizures in my day and it's never scared me until I saw my baby have his first one...and every single one after.
