I went to piercing pagoda in the mall! I asked my doctor to do it and she said no! She felt that someone who does it all the time should do it! Ask your doctor! My babes had hers done at three months. I would have done it after her two month shots BUT daddy was fighting me and didn't want me to get them done. He finally caved at three months!

I had my daughter's done at Claire's in the mall

You should go to an actual piercing place get it pierced with needle and not gun

most places do not want to do it until after her 2 month shots.

but I would highly recommend going to a tattoo shop and having their piercing professionals do it. piercing guns like at walmart, clairs, or places at the mall are traumatizing to the tissue on your babies ears and they could be seriously damaged. a tattoo shop is clean, with trained professionals, not someone they hire and showed how to shoot a needle through someone's ear, and they have quality jewelry. clairs is being sued for damaging a girls ears with the gun, and then giving the little girl cheap dirty jewelry which corroded in the babies ears making her very sick.

I would look at a tattoo/piercing shop in your area that does pediatric piercings!! there's only one in my area that does them for liability reasons but if you can find one that would be the best option!

Please get them done by a professional piercer at a tattoo and piercing parlor. People at Walmart, Claire's, ect. Are not trianed what so ever and piercing guns can cause damage to your little ones ears, and they usually never heal right when done with a gun.
