so my "best" friend has been telling me for weeks that she wants to come and see my daughter and she keeps telling me that she'll text me when she gets off work so she can come over. I haven't seen her since I was 6 months pregnant and I'm starting to lose my faith in her being a real friend. she only goes somewhere if its convenient to her and its getting my on my nerves. I love her because we've been friends for so long but I'm not going to put up with part time friends. as much time as I have in my hands, I don't have time, or patience, for that nonsense. either you make the effort to be in my life or you get out of the way so that I can make room for people who actually want to be there.

You know who your true friends are when you have children my best friend faded off we haven't talked for 4 years :/ so as I thought we were best friends I guess we really weren't now I moved 8 hours from all friends so here I am friendless least there is less drama in my life lol

That's how my friend was she was 10-15 mins from me even ditch my baby shower that I was looking so forward to her coming to that I spent a lot of money on but hey their lost! I always will miss her and the fun we had but sadly people change and grow apart does she have any kids? My sister has this issue now her friend has no kids my sister on her 3rd and her friend always wants my sister to drink and go away

@ab, no she doesn't. she can barely even keep a boyfriend because she never wants to leave her house. all she ever wants to do is smoke hookah and study (she's in college) while you're left sitting there bored

I would just tell her straight up I haven't seen you since then you keep saying your going to come see her if you really wanted to you will just don't tell me your going to do something then don't do it so I'm not wasting my time ,a real friend wouldn't get mad at you being real about your feelings
