I went through a big box (102 ct) of newborns in about 3-4 weeks. It just depends I guess. I bought 1 big box and 2 reg. packs of new born and 2 big boxes of size 1 and 1 size 2 box to start off. My son is 2months and still has a crap ton of diapers.

if you get more just don't open them until you need them, you can always return them for a different size if you don't end up using them.
