I don't think it's too girly! For some reason to me Winnie the pooh seems more boyish, especially with the blue. And like @darianweaver said get what you want! The pattern is more for you than him. lol. As far as the brand I'd just Google that exact carseat and see the reviews for it.

It's very gender neutral. my entire nursery is those colors so that when I have my second baby I don't have to change much.

I think it's a little girly. The swirly pattern is what makes it look like a girl car seat.
