I just broke down. so my daughter wasn't listening and she was being rude and talking back so i told her to use the bathroom and time for bed and she told me no so she got a little spank on her butt and i told her to lay down. while she was she told me she didn't like me and she's never said that before so it just ripped through my heart and i started cry and my fiance told her to apologize and she did. but it made feel like a bad mom. I just thought how could she be acting like this

We all go through the stage of being mad at mommy. I'm sure I've said that to my mother many times when I was little and older. We don't consider our moms feelings we just think they're being mean. Don't take it to heart, mama, she doesn't dislike you she's just mad.

@francesgln92, You know you're a good parent when they tell you things like that, even though it hurts. She won't care now, but in the future she will thank you for keeping her in line.

@francesgln92, its hard not to take it to heart. I know. But shes just mad. With a new baby brother she could be feeling jealous. I know when my daughter was born, my son started acting out and misbehaving so much. 10 months later and he is finally starting to realize that mommy loves them both. I always make special time just for him so he doesnt forget that
