After many unsuccessful attempts, I am finally (I hope) going to get my 3 hour test done tomorrow morning at 8. My husband claims to have heard the nurse tell me I can't eat for 12 hours before I go in, I don't think she said that and I want to eat but he won't let me. Is this true? Has anyone else had to starve for 12 hours before their 3 hour test????

They told me not to eat after 11pm. My appointment was at 8am.

Yes I did only water also have to fast for the three hours while your taking the test

He's right, from what they told me. The last thing you want to do is eat and get a false negative. If you MUST, I would eat some toast and an egg or two. Nothing heavy, or sweet. ❤️
