how do I get my daughter to not use me as a binkie.....she eats and then just stays latched to comfort suck. she doesn't keep a real binkie in and it wakes her up. any advice would be helpful.
oh no, deff not.. breastfeeding has got to be one of the hardest things to do as a new mom but totally worth it.. Hope things get better :)
well I'm glad I'm not alone! @ash_505 makes me feel not crazy.
mine does the same, she either wont take a pacifier at all or she will go to sleep and get woken up when it falls out of her mouth so i dont use it :/ shes 5 1/2 weeks old born on March 2nd.. but it makes my toes curl sometimes when shes sucking on me so long.. thats the only crappy thing about breastfeeding so far.. its a total comfort thing!
she uses a pacifier. it just falls out of her mouth as she tries to fall asleep nd it wakes her up. it's just frustrating kinda bc I feel like she's constantly at breast since she uses it as comfort as well as eating, my nipples are getting sore too so that adds to it . how Olds your munchkin? @ash_505
im in the same boat, youre not alone!I guess alot of moms are used as a pacifier if their babies dont take them.. her pediatrician said we should use a pacifier but we have tried and she hates it! Im now use to her sucking on me to go to sleep... if its really bugging me, i just put my finger on her cheek and pull my nipple out.. usually if shes sucked for a bit and sleepy she just goes to sleep but if she roots around more ill put it back in.. anyway, i feel your pain 😭
Well slowly taking the binky from my daughter trying to only give it when shes laying down

Moms That Allow Binkies:
Is your little one attached to ONE binkie? My daughter is a week old today and she refuses to take any other binkie. I saw a post about the particular binkie she has falling apart and almost choking the baby, so I'm really wanting to switch her from this one onto another... Any tips on switching?? I think the others may be too heavy or the nipples may be too big? Not sure... But I just don't want this one breaking in her mouth!!

when 1 binky is not enough...think she may have a problem 😁😍 #momlifephotos
What's everyone's opinions on binkys?

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Truth! thanks, you too!
