I'm due June 16th so my baby will be here for the 4th of July which is also my boyfriend's family reunion The reunion is in Tennessee and we live in Alabama. This is his first child and he really wants his out of town family to meet his first child. Do y'all think it would be too soon to have the baby out or travel that far?

My son is gonna go from Charlotte nc to Ohio that's a 8 hour drive .. He will be about 3 weeks or so .. If anything he will sleep most of the ride anyways lol

I drove from Missouri to Texas when my son was a month old. it was hell a trip that should of took a day took 2. so much crying stopping and irritation. I don't recommend it unless you go early so you can have time to settle before everyone is all touchy.

I wouldn't see any harm in it, although I would personally tell people they couldn't hold my baby because lord knows who's sick or what germs they're carrying. I would tell my family you can look, but you can't touch.

Go for it but when you get there make sure the family washes their hands before they touch the little one. With a family reunion there will be a ton of people wanting to get touchy feely.
