Most the girls I went to high school with had a baby or babies and like 75% of them are single moms. And it just saddens me that this generation has a whole bunch of dead beat dads and some cases dead beat mothers. There is less families and more broken homes. It's just makes me feel blessed to have a good man. I appreciate him so much.

Same here. I can only count a handful of girls I went to school with who are still with their children's father if that's dating, engaged, or married.

Unfortunately girls/guys think "having a baby is cool/fun" and then complain or aren't even in a committed relationship..

I understand some relationships just don't work out. if they can co parent for their children even if they are not together would be great to see but you don't even see that enough.

@tiffrae, nope not enough I know that if God forbid me and my boyfriend don't work out he wouldn't step out on his kids. I even know some dead beat moms but that's another subject lol

I am a single mom of 2 amazing little boys, and a little girl on the way. My boys father has basically nothing to do with them, and my daughters father wants nothing to do with her. I don't understand how these beautiful souls can be pushed aside by the people who are supposed to love them. I wasn't the only one who made these babies, but I will do everything I have to, to make sure that they have everything they need in life, no matter what I have to sacrifice for them. I show them every day how loved they truly are. They will know they can always count on me in life.

@cowgirlffa90, sorry to hear that. In same cases kids are better with out their fathers. Seems like your kids are in good hands though :)
