My bf is really downplaying this gender reveal and I don't think any of his family will be there, he says its bc its Mother's Day but everyone I invited will be there so that's not really an excuse! I feel some type of way but fuck it I'm not changing the date

@muvah.earthh, I did and he just keep blaming it on the date and saying well as long as everybody is coming to the baby shower that's all that matter. But I told him what if I don't want a baby shower then what? I think it's mostly bc his mom isn't coming she said she already had Mother's Day plans ever since then he's been downplaying it. But she's mad bc I'm having a reveal and she's not finding out before everyone else

smh , if anything, I see it as all moms from both of the sides getting together celebrating a new life and finding out its gender on a perfect day at that !! that's ridiculous .. its your day and your pregnancy .. if they don't want to be a part of it , well that's their loss . If she's not going out of state/country, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to at least pop up for the announcement.
