I need some advice please.
My husband and I were a week away from last minute moving to Scranton, PA (his cousin has a spare bedroom in his house) then decided that it would be best for me to just stay put here in NC and birth here.
However he was just offered a great paying job with Paternity leave in PA and as of now due to giving his previous job short notice he's not working. We're doing okayish financially and know he'll get a job soon but we both hate this small town and the wages are extremely low.
What would you do?
PS we've begun setting up the nursery etc and are starting to settle in again.

@babytj0214, ty ty! He accepted the position as soon as I said let's talk about it lol. We're going to be apart for a few weeks which makes me :( but we agree that it's a great opportunity.

Go for it!! I could be biased because I have family 10 minutes outside of Scranton, but like @babytj0214 said, it's nice to have a fresh start. And since you'll be living with family, that will also help some too! ☺

@kaylabby22, ooh! What's the area like? I'm so worried about that. Well his cousin has a new gf with a baby so ideally I don't want to live there. My husband is going to secure a place before I move there.

Gotcha! Makes sense @mamamoonbaby Uh Scranton is a bit more developed than where my family is. It's a city feel. Depending on what part of town you are in, you'll get variations (like most bigger-ish cities). Don't expect southern hospitality, northerners are on quite a different wavelength - especially in NEPA. It's not too bad though. It's not like it used to be, but it's still not super crazy.

@kaylabby22, that sounds great to me haha. Im actually from NY and I miss the.. let's say authenticity of northerners 😂. He'll be working in Hazleton; any idea what that area is like?

Lol, gotcha @mamamoonbaby ! Hazelton is a decent area. It's a relatively nice sized city. I can't quite remember exactly what all is that way, it's been years since we went that direction. We mainly stay in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area when we go up
