Saw a post and made me remember, every night at work my hands will break out and burn, I'm not sure if it's because they are constantly dry or if I'm allergic to something I've noticed it happens when I cut the cantaloupe and honeydew, but it's even happend when I don't cut fruit? I eat the fruit and I've never felt sick or hard to breathe, anyone else experienced this?

Could be dry hands. When my hands were dry like that they would break open and anything that touched them made them burn. Try hydrocortisone. I used it a couple times a day and a week later my hands were so much better.

If you wear gloves and your hands sweat it can cause irritation. I've had the same problem. Try using some calamine lotion when they break out and wear powdered gloves to help avoid irritation of you can. I'm a baker and am constantly wearing and changing gloves and if I don't lotion them they break out just like you explained.

I get little hives I don't understand why. @andiryan93 I was my hands alllllllot at work, I'm a waitress I have to have clean hands, it's hard to keep them moist because if I wear lotion I can't balance a tray without it slipping, I think I could start putting the cream on just the top by my knuckles, hopefully it helps!

@cmbwalker, it's so hard to keep them lotioned! I wash them so much which I know drys them out even more. I was thinking about lotion in gloves and wearing them to bed, that's what I did when my feet were dry and it helped.

I've heard that's supposed to be great for your hands! Worth a shot! Hopefully it works

Mine was due to washing them so much. I put hydrocortisone cream on rub it in. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to dry and it would start to feel better.

During/after my mom had me she "adopted" a food allergy. Ever since she cannot eat or even cut/peel raw fruits or veggies or a) she has to go to the hospital (if ingested) or b) her hands break out something terrible.
