I haven't had it happen, but my dentist told me not to use them while pregnant because the bleach I'm them really irritates the gums, so that may be why

@mariahn, that's what I was thinking.. I thought, like a chemical reaction, maybe I'm allergic, pregnancy. like it burned and I didn't think anything of it, but maybe there was germs or something.

coconut oil used the same way as mouthwash helps whiten teeth. I have tried it and you can tell the difference right after.

@madibrice, I've tried it and it didn't really work. I got whitening strips and whitening toothpaste. and it seems to be working and its only day three. @10yearslater0205 I was reading online, and even on the box it doesn't say anything about it not effecting from being pregnant, but I'm still going to ask the doctor. it was saying it turned white because of the peroxide, but I'll see with the doctor.

It's the peroxide in the strips. It will go away eventually, happened to me before
