Burp rags, swaddle blankets, swaddle sleep sacks, boppy pillows, plenty of onesies and gowns(I'd definitely invest more in those than dress up clothes or outfits that are difficult to change diapers in.) atleast a couple packs of newborn diapers and 1's, lots of wipes! If you are breast feeding definitely need nursing pads, a pump, and I'd suggest getting the ice packs/heat packs they sell specifically for breastfeeding mama's because when your milk comes in it can hurt and you can be sore from all of the feedings. Make sure you have a few pacifiers even if you don't plan on giving them one, you may end up with no other option to really soothe them. A swing or rock n play will also help you when you need to put them down for a few minutes. Gas drops or gripe water just in case. That's pretty much the basics!

I swaddled my LO. So something they won't get too hot in if you plan on doing that. (My son loved being swaddled and sleeps much better that way) or the gowns, they are easy to pull up to change their diapers quickly, and comfortable for baby. I also loved the ones that have the part that goes over their little hands so they don't scratch themselves up and you don't have to worry with little mittens. Or just a short sleeve onesie.

I plan on swaddling (hoping he likes it) I have a few different kinds already. I'm just so worried about not knowing what to put on him under the swaddles?
