my fiances step mom and dad (who we are living with temporarily) announced yesterday that she requested a month off of work a week before im due on so she can help me with the baby no offense to her but i dont want her help but really didnt know how to say that she is cool but i can only stand being around her a few hours a day. she had a baby at 19 and lost him at 3 months old which is tragic but i feel like shes going to use my daughter to fill that gap from when she lost her son. she said she wants to be around so i can sleep and she can watch her which is nice but she has emotional problems that scare me and im not comfortable with her watching her as soon as shes born i am in a crappy situation.

she should've asked you first before just going and doing that. some ppl like the extra help some don't. I was one that didn't want the help and still don't lol but that's just me. I would definitely try talking to her

he cant tell her anything because then she will get butt hurt and his dad will yell at him and say what shes doing is helping us and its something nice. both of his parents are alcoholics they drink from the time they get off work to the time they go to bed so it makes his step moms mood swings 10x worse she will get drunk and randomly go off on someome cause she said they were talking about her and she hears her name and no one in the room even said a word about her she is nuts @ftm0622

im just going to try and get up everytime she cries and do it myself maybe she will get the point and go back to work idk you really cant talk to her because she instantly thinks you are against her and want nothing to do with her she is just an extremly emotional woman who takes everything out of context @mommybump2016

oh my 😕. I'm sorry. I know ppl like that too there's just no getting the point across. well I do hope she let's you do what you want to do and doesn't butt it every time baby crys. she needs to understand that if you want help you will ask and hopefully she gets that! its not good to be a stressed out momma!

If you aren't comfortable with someone watching your child that's your choice. I have about 3 people I'd be comfortable with watching my baby and that's it. My own mother isn't one of them. It's all about what's best for baby, and if she's drinking like that and having mood swings then I definitely wouldn't let her watch the baby either.
