my son is 3 months and I had the same concern. Your child will let you know if he/she is still hungry. I have friends who stuck with only breastfeeding, I was so worried I wasn't able to feed him enough so I was giving him formula as well. eventually by 2 months he would only drink formula if his father was feeding him to give me some rest.

Well my son would feed till he would fall asleep or he would move his head away when he didn't want to eat. so definitely there's no force feeding.
