a little home remedy that I know works for the pain, a mixture of salt, pepper and water. make a paste and pack it on that tooth, almost instantly it relieves the pain.

you have to use the same amount of salt and pepper, very little water. it has to be a paste or won't work. good luck and hope it helps.

also, make sure you allow it to resolve completely or better results.
