You can't spoil a baby. How old is she? Right now you're all she knows, being near you makes her feel safe and comfortable.

Shes itty bitty. She is brand new to the world. It's a big scary place compared to the womb. She knows ylur scend and voice and heartbeat. So of course she'll want to be held.

My little guy is 12 days old and does the same thing- usually because he is needing a burp or fart. Once he burps again he will lay down. Gripe water has helped us a lot.
