my daughter has slept with us since the beginning. it's not only easier for nursing, but I can see her breathing and I'm not worried. when she didn't sleep with me I was always worried.
She sleeps right next to me or on my chest i have one of those in the bed co-sleepers she doesnt stay asleep when i put her in there put if im really tired and want to stretch out without worrying i put her in there just have to be prepared for her to wake up every 30 mins lol . And during the day she sleeps in her pack n play .
My son sleeps in the bed with my husband and I. I think it freaks me out more having him in his bassist. I'm a super light sleeper so I if he moves at all I wake up. I
That's exactly how I was. Especially being a FTM and my moms a nurse so she got on me a lot about that. Every little peep she makes I somehow wake up and check on her. She looks so darn comfy and I get good sleep when I cuddle with her. She hasn't slept in her crib once lol her doctor said to start getting her used to it. But I already know she's going to hate it.
@charlotte302, really? that's awesome! I just get kinda paranoid about the whole SIDS thing, I find myself waking up randomly in the middle of the night to make sure he is breathing lol
I know my son hates the bassinet he wants to be near me/practically on my face lol but they say it's bad that it increases the risk of SIDS, but I'm very careful when sleeping with him , I make sure there's no blankets near his face , but the whole SIDS thing kinda lingers on the back of my mind!
I have co-slept with my daughter since day one she is 15 months old now and has since about 3 weeks old slept in her own bed off and on @niightbreadswife
My daughter sleeps right between me and my bf. When she was up to a month she slept in a little bassinet right beside our bed. Then it was easier to just sleep with her right by my boob so I could just pull it out and feed her lol. I love co sleeping😊
