have any of you mamas heard of shrinking due to pregnancy??? I went in for my wic appointment today and they said I was 5'3" I looked at the poor girl like she was on drugs lol I said "I've always been 5'6", how can that be right?" she measured me 2 more times and got the same thing... the nurse said, maybe it's from being pregnant... I didn't shrink with my first so I know it had to be from my pregnancy with my daughter... but seriously 3 freaking inches????? I'm beginning to wonder if that's why my tailbone hurts so much now lol

Wow that's a big difference! I feel like there's no way you could have shrunk that much

that's what I'm saying lol but she measured me 3 times.... she said that I had lost an inch in 6 months

I really doubt it. Maybe they were measuring wrong? Lol I have no idea but you know how when you get older you shrink a bit? It took my mom 10 years to lose an inch so I really doubt you're shrinking that much! I'm not a doctor though haha just sounds whack!

Yeah definitely!! Update and let me know if you actually shrunk! I'm already only 5'2" so I can't afford to shrink haha

wic is crazy! their measurements are different then doctors and hospitals! idk why but they are. one day I had wic for my son then the next had a doctor's appointment and their stuff was completely different lol

I knee it had been for my kids lol @warfordmomma I should have known that it wouldn't be right for me lol I was just in such shock... altho my husband says I have shrank a little cuz I only used to be an inch or 2 shorter than him (no super high heels at our wedding lol) but I seem a bit shorter now....

nope lol I had a tubal when I had my daughter, before I was told I was shrinking lol
