I went through about 3 small packs of newborn and he's been wearing size 1's since he was about 3 1/2 weeks old. He's 9 weeks now. He's a chunky thing though he's about to be in 2's for sure. Just depends a lot on how big baby ends up being and how fast they grow. But definitely stock up on newborn and 1's. If anything you can take whatever they grow out of back to Walmart or wherever and exchange for the next size up.
Depends on baby size, but we only bought 2 packs of newborns and have 2 or 3 large boxes of size 1's since they go up to 14 pounds. My friend said usually they stay in size 1 for a while. Possibly till even 4-6 months. I buy diapers in bulk every paycheck or whenever we see a good deal. Walmart had great deals on wipes recently. So did Babies r Us. We have 2 big boxes of 866 wipes in each box.

Id say have 200 newborn diapers , and 300 size 1. Dont worry about stocking up from there, just start out with those.

I would start with one box of newborn, 2 boxes of size 1, 3 boxes of size 2 and 3 boxes of size 3 and I would stop there

My MIL looked up online. Some SAHM recorded how many diapers they used for each size. I dont have the link but id google it and see what pops up!
