I don't think she meant it in a bad way .. It was a compliment in my opinion .. My best friend has similar hair to yours and when I straighten it for her her hair looks completely different.. She gets a lot of compliments cause she barley does anything to her hair ..lol .. There's a lot of people that don't know about other types of hair so it's common to hear stuff like that .. As a hairstylist myself I know and I've heard plenty .

lol @gor_jess I hear stuff like that so much where I live it's just like whatever it's just so ignorant. I live far out with farms &stuff; lol and ppl look at me and automatically assume I stay in the trailers. ... I stay in a $200k condo .... then they say "wow how'd you get in there there's a bunch of rich white ppl in there. ..😐

my hair naturally curly it shrink to when its straight lt looks long and they rude and judgmental like black folk can't have good hair or nice things that piss me off 😑😑😑@anna432

I hate that. Just because I wear my hair in twist outs and braid outd and it looks "short" DOES NOT mean my hair is that length! It's called shrinkage... Just like a sponge when it dries up... It doesn't JUST happen to African American hair. And I hate it when people say "you're pretty for a black girl" 😐
