My little one's belly is measuring in the 1st percentile. The 1st. My doctor has done a wonderful job reassuring this crazy over analytical anxious mama that she will make up for it when she is out. They're letting me go another 2-3 weeks. Don't stress too much. I probably did more damage stressing myself out. I couldn't sleep or eat for like two weeks. But, I feel certain she will be just fine. I asked him why this happens and he said "I really wish I knew Hun". He asked if I smoked. I said no never. And he told me it's nothing I could have prevented.

He didn't say what percent, just said it was smaller than the rest. Yeah I've been driving myself insane since yesterday when I had my ultrasound. I'm going to be 37 weeks tomorrow and the baby is measuring 34 weeks and I think belly is a littttle smaller, and is only about 4 lbs 14 oz. I have my stress tests twice a week now so we will see. He mentioned inducing around 38-39 if he still wasn't growing. He asked me if I smoked too, and I don't, I quit like 2 weeks after finding out. I was a small baby so he said he just might be small. I'm trying to relax but it's not what I was expecting to hear! He isn't sending me to a specialist though. I hadn't either. It's so so so scary to hear your baby may have stopped growing. My little one was 3lbs 14 oz at 34 weeks. Took her about 3 weeks to gain a lb. Her sister was already 4 lbs 5 oz. I did a lot of research and the most important thing we can do is count kicks. If movement decreases, then they're probably better out than in. And you're already 37 weeks. He will be perfect. May need just a little special care, but you're there. Take it easy mama. I'm here if you need to talk.

It is! For a moment I started to worry if I did something wrong, but they said they don't know. I'm hoping that maybe in the next week or two he can atleast bulk up maybe a little bit and that him being small won't matter! I'm just hoping there is nothing actually wrong with him. He seems to be quite active so I'm hoping that it is good. But I'm glad the hospital we are going to is atleast a level 4 nicu just incase! They didn't say anything was wrong though? I didn't know what small belly meant but he couldn't tell me too much. @mrs_smith

No nothing is wrong with him, just a bigger belly because I have poorly controlled blood sugars, he will be ok

Yes I'm hoping! The hospital I'm going to has a level 4 nicu so it makes me feel better just incase! But I have my stress tests Sunday and Thursday then ob check again on Friday! @raegenice

Yes they are!!!! We will be 37 tomorrow, that is completely nuts but so exciting. 😌 but I feel from now on time will go super slow! Lol. @raegenice

lol it probably will. I have my next appointment Tuesday. Just keeping myself busy with tv and house chores and napping

I'm trying to do the same! Our bags are ready and his room is finally ready so I'm happy about that. Now just little things from now on. Trying to be ready and on top of the house cause if one test shows him stressed I'll be immediately induced which is such a crazy thought! Lol. @raegenice

@shananaginsx, hope you won't have to be. But whatever ends up being best for your little guy! Austin's room is finished and the bags are packed. But I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be mentally for my first little one lol

I hope not either, I hope he just comes when he's ready! But want it a little longer incase I can bulk him up a little bit! Yeah I think I've reached that point too.. lol. And it's hard cleaning a house that already has 2 disastrous boys making messes all days anyways so I'm gonna throw in the towel. 😆 @raegenice
