so while my fat boy geta his newborn tests done, I'll do my labor and dilivery story. so everyone knows that I was not having contractions up to me being 40 weeks. well wendsenday morning I went and walked on the treadmill for almost an hour and was up and around cleaning. well I started have mild contractions around 12 but they weren't strong enough and after eating something they went away. then around 200 they came back with a vengance and got closer and more painful so i sent in to l&d around 230 almost 300. they checked me and I was still only 1 cm but my contractions were getting stronger and closer and after 45 mintues I went to a 2 so they kept me. and then my contractions got more painful and they gave me pain medicine and then the epidural. I went all the way up to 4 1/2 natural and then stopped so the out me on pitocion to spend things along and it did I went from a 4 1/2 to an 8 in a short 2-3 hours and then things turned for the worset. every time they would have me switch sides to not hurt my hips his great beat dropped alot. the nurse said it was the cord around his neck and after not being able to pick up his heart beat they automatically said we need to get him out because with his heart are he won't survive anlonger and my fulids was gone too. so the wheel me into the operating room and hooked me up to the machines and since I had the epidural they didn't give me more pain medcine just oxgen. it took them about 45 seconds from cutting to taking him out. he was a whopping 8 lbs 7 ozs and 20.3inches long born April 7 at 5:20 am. nothing wrong with his lungs, nothing. it wasn't what I planned or expected but when it came to his safty and health it was the best choice. Iwere staying 3 days since I had a c section and we get to go home. it's not as painful as thought more like cramping and itchyfrom the medicine.
