When should I start buying like the big baby things? Crib and travel system? I'm getting…

I waits until I was 26 weeks to start in the big stuff

I'm gonna do it like at 17 I've already brought diapers and bottles.

I'm just overwhelmed at how expensive the big things are and I don't wanna wait for the last minute

I waited until the 3-4 month mark and bought my big stuff

you can buy gender neutral on swings and other big items whenever, and basic items like bottles, diapers, wipes, toiletries, socks. A crib. I find out what I'm having tomorrow 17 weeks 4 days and I already have a crib/changing table/dresser, the mattress, 2 rock n plays, 2 swings that convert in to bouncers, a breast pump, pumping supplies, diapers, socks, bibs, outfits, blankets, a carseat and strolled combo with two bases, it's never too early to get stuff, but it would suck to wait and not be prepared. Honestly a newborn doesn't need a whole lot. Some people wait until after the baby shower to buy bigger items.

I set up my first sons nursery around 25 weeks. Are you going to have a baby shower? That will help a ton. There's also certain programs that can help assist with getting you a crib!! There's also some on Amazon which I found aren't AS pricey as some places can be! I'd start making a registry early if you're worried and see what all you need, what you think you'll get, and get an idea of total costs. Then from there decide what you want to start getting
