my parents not wanting anything to do with their grandkids has made me depressed. because my grandfather wasn't around only when he wanted to be. and my dad always said he wouldn't be that way.... like they'll bragg about being grandparents and show pictures but they don't text or call nothing and they didn't say or send anything for their grandaughters birthday and i bet it will be the same with their grandson. i could careless how they feel about me but come on don't take it out on your grandkids you always bragg about...

my father is the same way. they jus want the bragging rights but take no responsibility on being there for the grand babies. so sad. I've learned to not play babysitter anymore. its his choice and if that's the bed he wants to lie in then so be it but now he doesn't get a right to see my son.
