if you mean for shopping carts, they're a hassle and a waste of money.. if you mean for car seats, most definitely get one! just get one that goes on the outside so it doesn't affect the safety of your car seat :)

when my son was younger it was so good to keep him warm or away from the rain or in stores if he was asleep then it would block the light

I have a six month old and I use one everytime we shop! the 30 seconds it takes to put on is way better than her touching the germy cart!
