My SO started his new job in Memphis today making $14 a hour.. gonna be making bout $700 a week. Im trying to convince him into moving to Memphis so we wont be spending his whole check on gas to get back and forth from work since we live bout an hour away. He thinks all of Memphis is horrible when everyone has told him its not all bad. He just doesnt realize how many places we can get and afford in that area with the room we need. Now, we can pay more than $400 a month and actually find somewhere now. His dad told us that we have til next month to get out.. but my SO is wanting to wait it out but I want out of this hell hole.

wait it out and save up.. but heads up unless he is working more than 60 a week he isnt bringing in 700 a week. i work 50 hours a week and get 19 a hour my check is only 800 a week.
