So my 6 month old had ingrown toenails on both of his big toes (let me sister in law cut his nails)…

So my 6 month old had ingrown toenails on both of his big toes (let me sister in law cut his nails) they don't seem to be bothering him but the one on his left is red all the way from the tip of his toe to the first knuckle, it's also warm. The right one is just a little red. Is there anything I can do aside from taking him to the doctor?
