at this point the meds they put you on aren't going to hurt you or baby and are pretty safe because all the baby is doing now is growing. it would be different if they had put you on meds in your first trimester. @ladyhummingbird88

@bay_73, yeah my neurologist wants to do an EEG on me too. I never heard of that before seeing her. She is not of fan of putting pregnant women on meds. Thing is I have been having really bad convulsions since I was a kid and never told the adults because they had a tendency to tell me I was done instead of looking more into things. I didn't find out what they were until my old OB saw me have a seizure while giving birth to my third baby.

They told me over a year ago that I have it and now I find out that it's just a sleeping disorder. there wasn't enough proof on the erg to e enough say that it was a seizure... They just said it was because they were trying to diagnose me with something. I was enormously passed off when I found this out at a neurology appointment 3 weeks ago.They want to do a 3 day erg on me still.

@mrs_velez, I was diagnosed last night in the hospital and I honestly don't know what to expect as far as treatment goes. How is it going for you?
