Hey ladies I need some serious help. I'm considering Paragard for birth control after I deliver. It's a nonhormonal IUD. What are some good birth controls you have used in the past or are currently using? I really don't know what to choose. 😩

I was going to get paragard as well, but I read alot of women had issues with it. I'm opting for the mirena instead - I prefer nonhormonal but I also want something effective

my health teacher just told me the scariest thing about her IUD yesterday. She said it was the worst mistake of her life. My mom also had a lot of problems with it. They say anything that you insert for that long in your body is bound to have problems.

i have had the mirania before it literally was the worst mistake ever...will never do again now i have the one that goes in your arm and i love it..you cant tell its there and it lasts 3 years

I had the implanon it goes in your arm and I didn't have any problems with that. It last for 3 years

nope they numben you so you dont feel a thing..it takes like 5 mins for the whole thing its a quick in and out

Nope!! What @jwaits said lol. They just insert it and wrap your arm and your done. @kaylaskibinski

My sil has had her iud forever with no problems, there's good and bad for all of them I'm sure
