Hi ladies, I had my 25 weeks midwife appt today. All seemed good, I have to have a glucose test and a growth scan. What is the growth scan for please? I am 5ft5 and bmi 35 is it because I am heavy or nothing to do with that? I am v confused as to what it's for and I was waffling so didn't really ask! X

it's to make sure baby is growing as he/she should :) nothing to worry about! they'll look at the fluid around baby, size of baby, blood flow trough the cord etc, I've been for one and going for a second one on Tuesday :)

They refer you for one if your bmi is over 35. its just to check everything, nothing to worry about (: i had ome at 27 and got another at 34 weeks xx
