TBT to when my son was just over 6 months old in his crib.... no negative comments, yes he had bumpers on his crib, he would stretch himself out and smoosh his head against the bars and I was worried about his soft spot..... and yes he had a receiving blanket in with him, they did it in the nicu as well (once he was able to have clothes on, and was out of the incubator).. and his little stuffed monkey thing next to his leg, he still has the same exact one to this day (2 years later,it's feet are shredded but it's his security blanket so to speak).... his other animals?? yes I know they shouldn't have been in there, I'm sure I forgot to take them out the night before, he played with them during the day before naptime

@sarahdrew, That's how my crib looks like bunch of stuffed animals! except he never sleeps there 😂 it's just for show

lol it was just a couple a swear lol he loved his crib which was shocking, he still sleeps in it (he's 2 1/2 now) mostly because I lost the book for it and I don't know how to turn it into a toddler bed lol

at least we aren't alone in that lol I'm sure my husband threw the book away once the crib was put together

people have survived with blankets and bumpers in cribs, and so will your little man!:) people are just sue happy so manufacturers and hospitals cover their asses.
