Как справиться с кислотным рефлюксом у младенца?
Sooo. Baby man only woke up once last night, which is fantastic of course, so you'd think I'd get some sleep.
Nope. Not a chance.
I suppose I got more than I have been, but, I was up grabbing him out of his bassinet because he was choking on spit up, and cleaning him up all night. His acid reflux has gotten so bad that hes been gagging in his sleep, spitting up a LOT and very often, choking on it, unable to catch his breath at times...its very scary. Today, I am calling his doctor and hopefully bringing him in, because I can't see him suffer like that anymore, and he's constantly breast feeding because he constantly throws up what he takes down. How is he supposed to get proper nutrition??
There's gotta be a better way....medicine or something! 😧 Also!! He can't drink from bottles anymore, Ive learned. Last night I tried to feed him expressed breast milk from a bottle to see how much he is taking at this point, and he seems to be getting extremely gassy to the point where burps get trapped in his chest and it causes him not to breathe. It literally took him 30 seconds or so to take a breath after the incident and he almost passed out. My husband and I were both auper scared and he said, "Thats it! No more freaking bottles!" so I have TONS of frozen breast milk I might have to donate to a breast milk bank. And how am I supposed to give him his vitamins now, when they go in bottles? Ugh

Have you tried different bottles? I know dr Browns help with reflux also tommee tippee has ones that help with reflux as well.

@santistevanmommie, thanks for the tip, hu n! I uave tried Avent and MAM. I havent dabbled in bottles much as I usually put him straight to the breast rsther than give him expressed milk, but I have a freezer full - so Im thinking I will grab one of each of the brands you listed on my Target run tomorrow to see how he does, because the dr reccomended I give him expressed milk mixed with rice cereal to thicken it a bit a couple times a day and that should help keep the reflux down a bit. I will try the bottles alone first, though! Maybe thats all it will take is the right kind of bottle ☺

Of course and see if you can find one with a super slow flow cause that might help him too!

I had this same issue and I eventually had to stop breastfeeding because he was having sensitivities in my diet that I couldn't pin down. I also had to start giving him Zantac. the only allergy we know of for sure is a cows milk allergy.
