My pet peeve? When people decide to criticize my parenting, or tell me my child is developing slow and is behind every other child her age. She just turned 6 months...literally. Yet some in the town I live in are telling me she's going to be slow because she hasn't gotten teeth yet, just started fully sitting up by herself, and only climbs onto her hands and knees and stays stationary....like....seriously? She's developing fine in my opinion. She's growing at her own rate. I'm not impeding her or pushing her. People need to just start minding their own before I show them where their opinion belongs 😡😡😡

This really upsets me I hate it when people try to compare babies to each other! This lady called my son slow because he can't talk yet. He's 16 months and only knows a couple words but to me he's really smart. Just because he can't talk yet doesn't mean he can't communicate with me. He lets me knows what he wants or if something wrong by pointing or showing me and he's really smart to me but the lady pissed me off when she said he's behind 😒

All kids develop differently. It doesn't mean anything bad as long as they catch up. My almost 5 year old is speech delayed but other than that he's super smart and has no issues. My 29 weeker is 6 months old and he's rolling over, cooing, and starting to try sitting up- as far as 6 months go he's behind but that doesn't mean he won't catch up. They all grow at different rates. If you feel baby is still on track then don't worry about it. It's between you and baby's pediatrician.
