Studies have proven that alcohol doesn't make it come off faster, it doesn't do anything. You just leave it and it will come off. My sons came off in 2.5 weeks, its not gonna come off right away. Just keep it dry and fold the front of the diaper so it has air

I used regular alcohol 70% . the hospital also gave me some of the alcohol pads they were using. they told me to rub around the belly button and squeeze a little on it.
Neither one of mine ever need cleans, they both fell off at about 5 days
Everytime I changed my baby's diaper I would dab a little Alcohol on it.
With my first born I cleaned around it with alcohol wipes. The alcohol wipes seemed like it dried it faster too.
why would you clean it? after it falls off you do but not before
You don't really need to clean it just avoid getting it wet, but if you must clean it do it with alcohol
