Labor story:

Arrived at the hospital at 12:30 for my induction. My OB got there at about 1:00 to check me and get everything started. When she checked me I had already jumped from 3cm to 4cm within the matter of an hour (from my appointment to the time she checked me). When she was checking me, she felt my water bulging & decided to break it, which happened at 1:09 when they declared I was in active labor. She started pitocin and contractions started about 5 minutes after. Within fifteen minutes they were 2 minutes apart. I got the epidural at about 2:45 (apparently I was already fully dilated at this point, but she opted not to check me considering I was just at a 4 an hour ago) & started pushing around 3:50ish. I pushed for about an hour & he was here! The epidural was a life saver! It made me enjoy every part of my labor! In between pushes my doctor even gave my son a Mohawk (while he was crowning 😂) Very very very easy labor & I hope and pray everyone's could be like mine was! Came out with a 1st degree labial tear & 1 stitch (I never felt either thing)! I love my sweet boy! He's such a good baby & breastfeeds like a champ!
