He just starts gagging out of nowhere like he's choking or something is caught and I pat/rub his back whenever he does it but I'm starting to get scared.

how big is your bathroom? if not big but him in his car seat and sit him in the bathroom while you take a hot bath the steam will knock most of it out ..but if it continues on the same tomorrow I would get him checked for rsv

your welcome....some babies just get all clogged up like we do this time of year but if you try that and it doesn't get better take him to get checked..my son had rsv twice it's not fun I didn't sleep 3 days

my little used to do that when she was 1-2 months old. I told her pedi and he said to make sure you're run a humidifier and use saline drops and a booger sucker on her nose! we haven't had any issues since!
