So, my doctor told me at the beginning of my pregnancy id have to get the Rh- shots because of my blood type. When I had my appointment at 26 weeks, I asked to make sure because I'd have to come back at 28 weeks. He checked and said my blood type was A+ or something so I didn't need it. I just had my 30 week check up and come to find out, the doctor looked at someone else's information.. I have O- 😕 I had to get the shot. It wasn't bad, didn't hurt except for the needle. The only thing I hated was that I missed the time to do it. Just shows no matter how much you go to school and get paid, we're all humans and make mistakes. I'm glad they caught it though. So happy my baby boy is healthy ❤️
i was bleeding and cramping..they sd with my blood type it was acting like the baby was an infection and trying to get rid of it..i had a miscarriage 11 yrs ago and they sd i would have to get one at 28 weeks and after the birth
@miraclebaby2016, why did you get it at 5 weeks? @babybonbon I love that it really doesn't hurt
Yeah, that is unfortunate. I had to get mine early in my pregnancy with the twins but they said I can get it at 28 wks with this pregnancy
i had to get the shot at 5 weeks..it didnt hurt after..i was surprised because i hate needles!!
@babybonbon, the shot wasn't bad I just wish they would've caught it at the right time.
I'm O- ! It's never fun getting the shots but at least it's there to help our babies
@ashley89, oh I thought they gave you one at 28 weeks and then after the baby was born?
@miraclebaby2016, it's really not that bad. Mine went in my hip/butt. The only part that hurt was the needle going in. I don't know if it'll get sore yet. The shot I got for a uti hurt worse than this one.
@10yearslater0205, I have no idea. He must of been in a rush that day and not pulled up the right information.
thank you!!
