I need opinions, I'm 30 weeks 4 days and I think part of my mucus plug came out. Pic is in comments.

@afunk1, maybe, may be just discharge. Your mucus plug can grow back though! It's not a huge sign of labor.. If really one at all. Some people loose it and don't go into to labor for weeks.

I've had the same going on since I was 25 weeks they say it regenerates, unless there's brownish stuff on it your really losing mucus plug and your body is preparing itself for labor

I already went into preterm labor at 27 weeks and dilated and thinned 50%, I really hope it's just discharge @candacelouise

It looks more like discharge instead of the mucus plug just my opinion call your Dr if in doubt

if your still concerned just call your Dr but I think you'll be fine.

in an attempt to make you feel better, your plug can come out weeks before you go into labor and its much bigger than that. based on the fact that you said your thinned out some already, I'd say it will start coming out. if it is mucus, its a small piece of it and you don't need to worry. mine started coming out around that time too and I made it to 39 weeks. we were concerned about preterm also but I made it

@arijane316, thank you, I've been on bedrest for 3 weeks now and my Dr would like for me to make it to 34 weeks. I know if I get a bloody show that I need to go to the hospital

you're welcome. nows the time it usually starts coming out anyway so don't worry unless there's blood in it or you start having consistent contractions

@arijane316, I've started going to the hospital twice a week for terbutaline shots to stop my contractions, I just hope I'm not dilating anymore or thinning

yea hopefully. just tell your doctor that you're concerned next time you go in
