My mom told me she wants to be in the delivery room, didn't ask if she could, told me. 😂😂😂 I told her no. After everything she has done as a mother, grandmother, and person in general, she doesn't deserve to be there. In fact she won't be allowed to be at the hospital at all, and I will not tell her when I have my baby, where I'm having my baby, what the gender is when I know, no name, nothing.

When it comes time to deliver you can tell the nurses you don't want visitors, or you can set up a password so only guests who know it can visit, or you can notify your nurses when you want them to send visitors away. They should be understanding. They want you to be a happy patient, not a stressed out one.

@kimberlyyyy, the hospital I'm delivering at is really strict about that already. they told me no visitors until two hours after the baby is born. and the first hour they want me to hold and breastfeed the baby, and the only people that can hold the baby within those two hours are me and whoever was in the room with me. but I will be letting my doctor know ahead of time and also when I'm in L&D. and to be honest, its only her that I don't want there, everyone else is welcomed. and to visit, they have to run Names/ID so I will be giving her info.
