I was going through the samething and they had wanted me to sit with him all day everyday i was like well what the hell are yall here for... Its bs i just took him out of school and im home schooling him now

I went through a similar situation earlier on this year, and wound up transferring my son out of the county we lived in. However I walked in and the teacher was telling my son he was dumb and would never learn to read. My son is on the autism spectrum and the school he was in took him out of his special education classes and therapy. When my son started acting out and falling behind, they only reacted by suspending my kindergartener. They were talking about if he would keep acting out they would expell him. I went and did a surprise visit in my son's class so I could see how his interaction was with his teachers, and I walked in to one of them standing over him telling him he is dumb and never going to learn. I was so mad that I pulled him out that second and never let him go back. I was able to do an out of district transfer and he was put back into his special education in his new school. He has really turned around and hasn't acted out even once since. I went to the school board and the district and principal and voiced a complaint but it hasn't gone anywhere. I will never have a child in those schools again. I pulled my younger son from school there as well and have since moved to be where my son goes to school now. Trust your instincts. I knew something wasn't right with my son at school, and I am so glad I did something about it.

@cowgirlffa90, omg that is horrible ! It's a stand that these counties hire people like this & let them keep their jobs ! I am so glad he turned around . I am definitely trusting my instincts on this . This has been going on all year .

@xoxoalexusss It was awful. The kids are so mean to their classmates anymore too. My son actually has friends at his school now. I know he was acting out because he needed the help and they weren't doing it. I hope the change does good for your little one!
