Midwives don't advise them. But you can boil the kettle. Leave it 30 mins and the water will be the right temp :) then just put it in the bottle and add formula x

What do you do about the sterilised bottles, do you leave them in the steriliser or do you take them out?! I'm so confused by the whole thing 😩😩 @zoemarie xx

I have the steriliser down stairs and the bottle maker up stairs so we sterilise the bottles before going up to bed and then take them up with us and put them next to the machine ready for the night feeds @hannah2310 Xx

With the lids on?! How long are they sterile for @zoemarie xx

Yeah I screw the lids on, I think they say once sterilised there good for about 24 hours but I'm not too sure, if it makes you feel better you could always leave them in the steriliser and just take them out as you use them @hannah2310 Xx

I sterilise my bottles boil the kettle fill my bottles all up with the boiled water and put them in the fridge then just add my powder and warm it up doesn't take long at all.. don't really see the point in the prep machine xx

I used to take my prep machine upstairs with me at night too 🙊 and wasn't too fussed about having the bottles out side the steriliser as the first ounce out of the bottle maker is boiling anyway, and germs that had began to linger would be killed off after your shook the bottle to mix the powder in anyway 🙂

oh I see 😊if I got it as a present I would use it but i personally wouldn't spend that sort of money on one haha xx
