welp I have a boil on my butt that I've had for 2 weeks that I have to deal with for another week

That's how mine was I had to get them taken care of a year ago and haven't had one since if it's as bad as you say you need to see your doc, they may need to drain it. Other wise it'll just keep coming back and more likely to be worse next time

Try taking baths with Epsom salt. I did that when I had mine and it helped a lot.

@schu35, I can't even sit in the tub. @lilybug I saw him today he gave me antibiotics he could not do any thing bcs it hasn't come to a head yet

@anna432, I'm sorry:/ I know how you feel. I've had them consistently and they get so bad. I was hobbling around work because the motion of walking caused so much pain. I went to the doctor and they didn't do anything for me. When it finally popped on its own it felt amazing. With my last one my SO mentioned putting witch hazel on with a cotton swap, that seemed to help too
