HELP LADIES!!! I currently have high blood pressure and have been given cervix softener. I am now 3cm dilated I'm moving along pretty well..my doctor want to give me pitocin to speed up labor but being that I already have high blood pressure I fear it would add too much stress on me and the baby..anyone else had similar experiences???

I got admitted for emergency induction with my daughter for high BP. They gave it to me but it did nothing.

It didn't really add stress. I was still in labor for a while over the course of 3 days. Depends on who you are.

@edomke, ok thankx..I went on and got it not bad..I've been in labor for nearly 10hrs already 😕so who knows how long this will be
