Well guys my newborn baby boy's nurse came into talk to me about his status.. She's more than positive he had pneumonia. I got to hold him once for a good 30 mins or so. He's hooked up to this oxygen thing @ has catheter tubs going through his belly button to his heart for antibiotics. I won't be able to hold him.. Nurse him.. Or take him home.. It could be a whole week.. I'm so sad I feel like it's my fault.. I had to have a c section because I wasn't dilating and my cervix was swollen.. I had a fever & a high white blood cell count.. Urgh I can't even sleep now 😓 broken
I hope things get better for you and your baby... God bless you both!! 🙏🏾💯😘
dear heavenly father, we pray that you lay your healing hands upon those who are sick. We beg you to have compassion on 6all those who are suffering so that they may be delivered from their pitiful circumstances. in jesus we pray, amen. Stay strong momma ❤
@abelsmom, I know the feeling. It's the worst to not be able to help when your baby is sick or in trouble. The best thing you can do for him is be there and let him know how much his momma loves him.
It's the worst thing ever because I feel so helpless.. It's so hard not to blame myself I keep thinking there's something I could've done @ajochim15
Prayers for you and you baby boy. I know exactly how hard it is to see your baby sick and how easy it is to blame yourself but you've got to be strong for him so don't let it get you down. It's not your fault!
My son was born at 34 weeks via csection bc of a heart issue. I couldn't see him for the first 3 days. He was hooked up to all these wires that made him hard to hold at first. He's 19 months old now with no problems. Sending encouragement and understanding your way.
