Ahh I'd just introduce him slowly. Make sure the little man doesn't bother him when he gets mobile.

One of our pugs is aggressive towards the other two pugs we have with nipping at them & trying to attack. He's 9 years old as well but is such a sweetheart to our daughter! Hopefully your pup won't nip at the newborn as there not really mobile & by the time that they are to start getting around they will be comfortable with the baby like he is with you guys :) Maybe it could be the way people approach him? Do people usually give him attention as soon as they come through the door? Maybe tell them to not really awknowldge him until he's been able to sniff & check them out, then after 5 mins, get them to slowly introduce themselves to him that way it's not just a straight upfront interaction with him. Hope this helps :)

I just spoke with the vet and explained my situation....he very simply said that this behaviour is not going to get any better and he advised me to have him put down. He has bit people before...never a child...but whose to say it won't happen... ☹️
