Does getting induced really have a greater risk of C-section ?? How many mommies have gotten induced…

I was induced at 39 weeks 4 days. It didn't go so well for me. They did cervidal at 7 pm the night before and I had to have it taken out at 2:30 am because mine and my daughters heart rate was really high. They started piticon at about 9 am that day and I didn't progress anymore than a 4 or 5. I ended up having to have a c section because I got a fever. I was in labor all day though. I didn't have her until 10:39 that night.

Not necessarily. I was induced @ 41+6. I was no dilated at all and showing no signs of labor but my OB insisted on inducing me. I was in labor 3 days and towards my last 6 hours we talked about the other options if I couldn't get baby out on my own.. Like the vacuum or c section. I was exhausted!! I tried with everything I had and pushed my brains out and she finally came out after 3 hours of pushing. I was terrified of a c section.

ive been induced 3 out of 4 times and had my babies vaginally. i guess it just depends on how your body reacts..

I was induced. they broke my water, gave me pitocin and the bulb and I had my baby vaginally plus no tears 😆
