why does my husband insist on laying with my 3 year old in his room and then he falls asleep instead of spending time with me? we have strict bedtime routine when he works and then he ruins it.

my husband does the same. he always ruins the routine and I spend the whole week trying to get my routine back just for him to mess it up. I completely understand where you're coming from.

Ugh it's so annoying @kay.forsha .. it's like I'm always the bad parent for having rules. not to mention he needs to be spending time with me before the new baby. our 3 year old goes to bed perfectly fine when you stay consistent and we are going to need to split our time with the baby soon, plus find time for each other. I stress about it so much

I do too and then my husband wonders why our child is cranky all the time. and I always tell him it's because he let's her stay up super late. but he's gonna miss all the quiet time when baby #2 comes around. @jamielynn07
